Sharif Alam

Sharif Alam, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Sharif most recently worked as an Analyst Senior at Gainesville Regional Utilities starting from August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Analyst II at the University of Florida from April 2021 to June 2021.

Before their current positions, Sharif held multiple roles at Infotech from 2013 to 2020. Sharif Alam, PMP has a diverse education history. Sharif obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2009 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida. To further enhance their education, they completed a Master's degree in Information Technology Management at Sullivan University from 2013 to 2014.

Prior to their higher education, Sharif completed their high school education and obtained a High School Diploma from the American International School Dhaka, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sharif also holds various certifications. Sharif obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in July 2016. Sharif also completed certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers in September 2012 and OSHA Construction from the American Safety Council, Inc in March 2012. As part of their continuous learning, Sharif completed several online courses, including Business Analysis Foundations, SQL Essential Training, and Scrum: The Basics, offered by LinkedIn in 2021.
