Jim Ellis

Jim Ellis is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as an Enterprise System Administrator at Gainwell Technologies since October 2020, Jim previously held the position of UNIX System Administrator at DXC Technology from June 2016 to October 2020, where responsibilities included the maintenance and support of over 300 Solaris, Red Hat, and Oracle Linux systems. Prior to that, Jim worked at Investor's Business Daily from December 1986 to April 2016, taking on roles such as Sr. System Administrator and Production Manager, providing comprehensive technical support across multiple sites. Jim began a career in technology as an Electronic Technician at Longmont Times-Call from June 1981 to December 1986, focusing on the repair and maintenance of editorial and production equipment. Jim completed studies at Arapahoe Community College between 1980 and 1984.
