John Langefeld

John Langefeld has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry, starting as a Chief Medical Officer at Health Associates of Kentucky in 1996. John later served as the Medical Director and Vice President of Healthcare Management at Bluegrass Family Health. John also worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Artemetrx/PSG before moving to the public sector as the Chief Medical Officer for the Department for Medicaid Services at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Their career progressed as they became the Vice President of Clinical Integration and Quality Innovation at Vizient Southern States, Inc. John then took on the role of Principal at Insights4Health, LLC, and currently serves as the Senior Principal Physician and Medical Director at Gainwell Technologies, focusing on delivering innovative solutions for health and human services within the federal Medicaid program.

John Langefeld obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Berea College in 1978. John then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1982. From 1982 to 1985, they completed their Family Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. John Langefeld is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine.
