Lance Mohring

Lance Mohring is the current CTO at GainX. Prior to this, they were CTO, Head of Product Strategy, and CFO at Plasticity Labs from July 2013 to January 2018. From August 2011 to January 2013, they were VP Engineering / General Manager at LookSmart Canada. In this role, they led software engineering, architecture, business intelligence, network operations, product strategy, and IT. Lance also supported, evolved, and redesigned the core Ad serving platform, datastores and supporting systems doing over 4 billion transactions a day. From January 2010 to February 2011, they were General Manager of Vertical Sites at Yellow Pages Group / Groupe Pages Jaunes – Canada. In this role, they became the business, product and technical leader for new initiatives at YPG after eMedia assets were sold to YPG. From September 2007 to January 2010, they were President / CTO of emedia Interactive Inc. From June 2006 to September 2007, they were VP of Development at Geosign Inc. From March 2005 to June 2006, they were Director of Technology at Henderson Bas. From August 2001 to March 2005, they were Director of Technology at McGill Digital Solutions Inc.

Lance Mohring completed an HBA at Western University, studying English, Computer Science, French, and general science & math. Lance then went on to Fanshawe College to study Computer Programming, Software development, analysis, and design.
