Kemi Alemoru is the current culture editor at gal-dem. Prior to this, they were a staff writer at Dazed & Confused, where they utilised social media to develop brand awareness on campus. Kemi also distributed the publication on campus and targeted a specific demographic at events such as the university hosted Freshers Fair to engage them with the brand.
Before working at Dazed & Confused, Alemoru interned at the BBC in the UK News and Magazine department. There, they assisted with market research and data capture at events and exhibitions.
Kemi Alemoru has a Master’s Degree in Magazine Journalism from City, University of London. Kemi also has a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Linguistics from The University of Sheffield. Kemi has a certification from the University of Sheffield Careers Service in Sheffield Graduate Award.
