In 2018, GAL acquired Courion, a leading provider of freight elevator door systems, Bore-Max, a producer of highly regarded hydraulic elevator components, and Elevator Controls, a highly renowned designer/manufacturer of elevator control systems. In 2018 all the companies united under the name of "Vantage"​ to create a stronger, centralized partner that would provide customers with easy access to an unprecedented range of resources.
