Tim Siu

Tim Siu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at GAL Manufacturing Company LLC as a Project Coordinator/Manager and Product Manager, overseeing project planning, communication management, and serving as a liaison between departments. Tim also worked as an Electrical/Production Engineer, directing inventory usage, generating engineering specifications, and providing factory instructions. In 2018, they joined the City of New York, Mayor's Office of Contract Services, as a Technology Strategist Analyst in the Project Management Office, focusing on standardizing operating procedures, managing onboarding/offboarding processes, and providing project management support. Since 2019, Tim has returned to GAL Manufacturing Company LLC as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for leading cross-functional discussions for product development and performing design, analysis, and experimentation on new and existing products. Tim subsequently took on the role of a CPQ Specialist/Solution Architect, leading product modeling efforts and transforming product data into a new CPQ format. Since 2022, Tim has been working as the Product Data Lead at GAL Manufacturing Company LLC.

Tim Siu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Polytechnic Institute of New York University in the years 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define and Ideate" and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" from Google in the year 2021.
