Jaime Valdivia

Jaime Valdivia serves as the Chief Economist and partner at Galapagos Capital since March 2022, where the firm focuses on liquid and alternative assets and manages over 5.1 billion BRL across more than 9,000 clients. Prior to this role, Jaime Valdivia held the position of Head of Emerging Markets Research and Strategy at Sovereign Macro Partners starting in July 2021. From October 2010 to July 2021, Jaime Valdivia was the Head of Emerging Markets Research and Strategy at BlueCrest Capital Management. Additionally, from January 2003 to October 2010, Jaime Valdivia was the Head of Research and Strategy at Emerging Sovereign Group Partners LP.
