Sean Sawyer

Sean Sawyer, CISSP, GCIH, is a seasoned cybersecurity expert currently serving as a Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert Instructor at Galapagos Federal Systems since January 2025. Previously, Sean held roles such as Red Team Instructor at Aleut Federal and Cybersecurity & Resiliency Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. With extensive experience gained as Flight Chief for Cyber and Test Support at the 17th Test & Evaluations Squadron, Sean oversaw critical cybersecurity assessments for multiple Space Force Programs. Throughout a distinguished military career with the United States Air Force and Space Force, Sean developed significant expertise in cyber defense, threat analysis, and incident response. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, along with various other certifications and degrees relevant to cybersecurity.
