Chinweze Ahaghotu

Chinweze Ahaghotu has a diverse background in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry and venture capital. Chinweze currently works as the Head of R&D Portfolio Management at Galderma starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at Bristol Myers Squibb, where they served as the Corporate Strategy Lead from 2020 to 2021, the R&D Integration Management Strategy and Planning Lead from 2019 to 2020, and the Head of R&D Operations from 2018 to 2019, among other roles. Chinweze also worked at Lux Capital as a Venture Capital Associate in 2007 and at Cahn Medical Technologies, LLC as a Venture Capital Associate in 2005-2006. Chinweze began their career at Merck in 2001 as a Research Systems Associate and later became a Senior Marketing Analyst.

Chinweze Ahaghotu has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an Honors Concentration in Biophysics from Harvard University. They also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurial Finance from Columbia Business School.
