Ray Brubaker

Ray Brubaker has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ray is currently working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Galen Robotics since September 2022. Prior to this, from July 2021 to September 2022, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ellicott Dredges, where they updated and documented electric power and control designs using SolidWorks Electrical. From August 2020 to April 2021, Ray worked as a Hardware Engineer at Securiport, where they were involved in electrical and packaging design, as well as production and customer support. Before that, from June 2018 to April 2020, they worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as a Hardware Engineer, where they implemented Industry 4.0 machine monitoring and tools innovation.

Prior to these roles, Ray worked as a Project Electrical Engineer at Oceaneering from March 2016 to February 2018. From January 2015 to January 2016, they worked as an Electrical Distribution Engineer at Maryland Public Service Commission, where they investigated customer house fire complaints and analyzed utility filings for compliance with reliability and safety enhancements.

Earlier in their career, Ray worked as a Navigation and Timing Engineer at NTT DATA SERVICES FEDERAL, LLC from November 2014 to January 2015. From September 2008 to November 2013, they served as a Systems Integration and Test Staff Engineer at Lockheed Martin. Ray also worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Advanced Programs, Inc. from October 2007 to April 2008, and as a Systems Engineer at TCOM L.P. from November 2002 to September 2007.

Ray Brubaker earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Afterward, they pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University, completing their studies from 1991 to 1996. Previously, Ray attended Caesar Rodney High School from 1981 to 1985, where they completed a college preparatory program.
