Suhas Shelukar

Suhas Shelukar has over 25 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2021, they began working as the Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Galera Therapeutics, Inc. From 2012 to 2011, they were the Director of Manufacturing Technical Operations at Takeda, where they were responsible for technical operations and manufacturing science and technology for drug products manufactured at external contract manufacturing organizations. From 2011 to 2010, they were the Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Achaogen. In 2010, they started their own consulting business, Suhas Shelukar Consulting, as a CMC Consultant. From 2009 to 1996, they worked at Gilead Sciences and Adamas Pharmaceuticals, where they held roles such as Senior Director, Associate Director, and Research Fellow.

Suhas Shelukar received their B. Chem. Eng. from the University Department of Chemical Technology, Mumbai in 1987. Suhas then attended the University of Louisville, where they earned their MS in Chemical Engineering in 1988. Suhas continued their studies at the University of Houston, earning their PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1993.
