Sharon Kwok

Sharon Kwok has extensive work experience in strategic planning and delivery in the technology and finance industries. Sharon is currently working as the Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Delivery at Galileo Financial Technologies. Prior to that, they served as the Technical Chief of Staff at PayPal from 2019 to 2021. Before PayPal, they worked at Forshay as an Advisor and later as the Strategic Planning and Delivery Leader, where they were responsible for partnering with clients to evaluate strategic planning and program management. Sharon also has a strong background in strategic planning and delivery at Cisco, where they held various roles including Director, Sr. Manager, and Technical Program Manager. Their experience at Cisco involved transforming the WebEx Cloud Operations organization, driving centralized intake processes, and managing a portfolio of projects. Previous to Cisco, Sharon worked at Visa as a Software Delivery Manager, leading the architecture, development, and support of new applications for major clients. Sharon also has experience at IBM as an IT Consulting Architect, where they managed and delivered application solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Sharon Kwok obtained a Certificate of Business Excellence from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University from 2004 to 2007. Sharon also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, which they received from 1997 to 2001. Their high school education was completed at Mission San Jose HS from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their academic degrees, Sharon has obtained several certifications including Stanford Certified Project Manager, Certified ScrumMaster, and Project Management Professional.
