Setu Shah

Setu Shah is a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on natural language processing (NLP) techniques, particularly in analyzing chat data to enhance behavioral health services. Currently employed at Galileo since April 2023, Setu previously held various positions at Headspace Health, progressing from Senior Machine Learning Engineer to Staff Machine Learning Engineer within a year. Prior experience includes roles at Ginger as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer and NLP Data Scientist, as well as academic roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Setu's background encompasses research internships at Microsoft, where contributions involved developing an Intelligent Scribe using advanced NLP models. Setu holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
