John Caruso

John Caruso is an experienced professional in the healthcare and data analytics sectors, currently serving as the Head of Insights at Galileo, Inc. since November 2018, where leadership of a team of analysts and data scientists focuses on generating data and insights for value-based care and consumer health. Prior to this role, John Caruso founded Blue Laurel, a subscription Personal Health Record service that enabled consumers to manage their medical records effectively. Earlier in John's career at Aetna from 2002 to 2017, significant contributions were made as Executive Director of Finance and Head of Commercial Risk Management Operations, particularly in implementing key components of the Affordable Care Act. John Caruso began professional endeavors as an actuarial student and completed the Actuarial Leadership Development Program, obtaining the FSA designation in 2007. John Caruso holds a BS in Mathematics and Economics from Haverford College.
