Aaron Schacht

Aaron Schacht is an accomplished biotechnology executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Director at BiomEdit, where the focus is on innovative animal health products utilizing microbiome and synthetic biology. Schacht's extensive experience includes roles such as Member of the Board of Directors at Gallant Therapeutics and Independent Director at Redux Bio, alongside board memberships at the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute and AgriNovus Indiana. Previously, Schacht held several executive positions at Elanco, driving initiatives in microbiome R&D and innovation. Prior to that, Schacht served as CEO and Co-Founder of Artesian Therapeutics and held various leadership roles at Eli Lilly and Company, where significant contributions were made to product development and commercialization strategies. Schacht holds a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
