Gabriel Ascencio has had a diverse and successful career in advertising and creative writing. Gabriel started their career at Cruz/Kravetz: IDEAS as a Senior Copywriter, working on notable clients such as Mexicana Airlines and KFC. Gabriel then moved on to Casanova//McCann, where they progressed from a senior writer to a Creative Director, managing a team and working with clients including Coors Light and General Mills. In 2002, Gabriel founded their own agency, ETL Communications, focusing on Hispanic brand and marketing solutions for small to medium-sized clients. Notable projects included working with Kaiser Permanente and Time Warner Cable. In 2013, Gabriel joined Grupo Gallegos as a Creative Director, where they established and ran an in-house transcreation department and implemented new processes to meet high-volume requests with strict deadlines. Currently, Gabriel is working as a Freelance CD/Bilingual Writer.

Gabriel Ascencio completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications/Film from Wayne State University between the years 1989 and 1992. Gabriel later obtained a Diploma in AAAA's Advanced Advertising Studies from Loyola Marymount University in 1996.
