David Connell

David Connell serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Galleon since February 2019, focusing on shipping optimization through a transportation analytics platform that enhances performance monitoring, cost reduction, and customer experience. Prior to Galleon, David Connell experienced a successful tenure at Thomson Reuters from August 2008 to January 2019, holding multiple roles including Regional Sales Manager, where management of Account Executives involved growing the existing account base and acquiring new clients. David Connell began as an Account Executive and progressed through various positions, including specializing in corporate risk and fraud solutions, and consistently surpassing sales targets. Educationally, David Connell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Minnesota, obtained in 2006.
