Stephanie Leverock has been working in the museum and art industry since 1999. Stephanie began their career as an Assistant in the Department of American Art at the Brooklyn Museum. In this role, they provided curators with administrative support related to exhibitions, incoming and outgoing loans, and more. Stephanie then moved on to become the Assistant Registrar for Permanent Collections at the same museum, where they created, organized, and maintained record systems for collection documentation including assigning accession numbers, object cataloging, and digital photography.
In 2006, Stephanie Leverock took on the role of Registrar and Collections Manager at The Hyde Collection, where they created, organized, and maintained record systems for collection documentation, registration documentation, and forms. Stephanie also maintained and supervised object storage and inventory control, including environmental monitoring.
In 2007, Stephanie Leverock joined Gallery Systems, Inc. as a Project Manager and Team Lead for Data Conversion Services. In this role, they scheduled and managed data conversion and software implementation projects as a member of the professional services division. Stephanie also researched, developed, and maintained methodologies to convert client data and collaborated with Gallery Systems development, training, and support teams.
Most recently, Stephanie Leverock has been working as the Manager of Professional Services at Gallery Systems since 2021.
Stephanie Leverock earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Theirtory, Criticism and Conservation from Brooklyn College between 1991 and 1996.
