Polychronis Rigas

Polychronis Rigas has a diverse range of work experience. From 2022, they worked as a Junior 3D Artist at Gallium Studios, where they created and tested 3D models using Blender and Unity software. In 2023, they served as a Content Moderator at Concentrix. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, Polychronis worked as an Online Community Manager and Horticultural Consultant at horticure, providing plant care and advisory services. Polychronis also worked as a Grower of Rare and Exotic Plants at Urban Jungle Plant Nursery and Café in 2020. From 2019 to 2020, they held two roles at Scotscape Group, first as an Indoor Plants Specialist and then as a Living Wall Operative. In 2019, they worked as an Urban Gardener and Garden Center Assistant at W6 Garden Centre and Cafe. Polychronis gained experience as a Horticultural Intern at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh in 2018 and 2016, where they performed various garden maintenance tasks. Additionally, they served as an Infantry Reserve Officer at the 5th Special detachment battalion from 2011 to 2012 and as a Storekeeper Assistant at Xartemporiki, a bookstore, from 2004 to 2011.

Polychronis Rigas pursued their education in the field of Agriculture. In 2013, they enrolled at the University of Thessaly and completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Agriculture, General in 2017. Polychronis then went on to further their education at the same university, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences in 2018.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Polychronis Rigas acquired two certifications from LinkedIn in February 2021. Polychronis completed the "How to Create and Run a Brilliant Remote Workshop" course and obtained a certification for it. Polychronis also completed the course on "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" and received a certification for their accomplishment.
