Matt Covington

Matt Covington currently serves as Of Counsel at Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A. since May 2023. Previously, Matt Covington worked as an Attorney at Cranfill Sumner LLP from September 2009 to April 2023, where responsibilities included the successful defense of employers and insurance carriers in litigation at the North Carolina Industrial Commission, as well as handling administrative matters and preparing strategic defense plans. Matt Covington has experience in drafting legal briefs, conducting negotiations, and presenting oral arguments before the Industrial Commission. Matt Covington holds a Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
