Karen York

Karen York is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assessment Consultant at Escambia County School District since November 2017 and as an Associate Attorney at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, A PLC since August 2016. Previous roles include Judicial Law Clerk at the 13th Judicial Circuit and a Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Legal Intern at the Florida Office of the Attorney General, where Karen contributed to legal research and trial preparations. With prior experience as a Law Clerk specializing in various areas of law and in admissions roles focused on recruitment and retention, Karen holds a Master of Laws in Admiralty Law from Tulane University Law School, a Juris Doctor from Mississippi College, and advanced degrees from the University of West Florida in both College Student Affairs Administration and Communications.
