Lauren Snider Thompson

Lauren Snider Thompson, MAPP, is an experienced educator and leader with a robust background in positive psychology and educational leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Education Advisor at Gallup since June 2023, Lauren also holds the position of Education Market Leader at the University of Pennsylvania and contributes as an Assistant Instructor in the Master of Applied Positive Psychology Program. A founder of Ascent Leadership Learning, LLC, Lauren specializes in professional development focused on well-being and resilience in educational settings. Previous roles include various leadership positions within Dexter Community Schools, such as Assistant Principal and School Principal, along with teaching and consulting roles that emphasize positive education and personal growth. Academic qualifications include an EdD in Curriculum, Communities, and Culture from Loyola University Chicago, a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Purdue University Northwest.
