Matthew Bauer

Matthew Bauer is a Principal Scientist at Galois, where they focus on model-based engineering and high assurance software. They have previously held positions as a Cyber Engineer at Raytheon and Forcepoint, and served as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. With a strong background in software engineering, Matthew co-founded and served as CTO for multiple companies, including ReplayLogic and ExistX. They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and hold both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
