Sarah Mateen

Sarah Mateen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Legal and Chief of Staff at Galvani Bioelectronics since February 2017, where responsibilities also include serving as Chief of Staff to the President and acting as Director of Legal and Transactions. Prior to this role, Sarah Mateen worked at Slaughter and May from September 2011 to January 2017, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Associate, with experience in Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, and IP/IT. Additionally, Sarah Mateen completed a secondment at GlaxoSmithKline in 2013 as a Trainee Solicitor within the UK Legal Operations, Business Development Transactions Team. Educational background includes a BA Hons in Law from the University of Cambridge and an Accelerated LPC from BPP Law School, alongside an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of South East Asia.
