Chiara Pastori

Chiara Pastori has over 15 years of work experience in the field of research and science. Chiara'smost recent role was as an Associate Director of Research at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc., where they have been working since August 2022. Prior to that, they held positions within the same company as a Principal Scientist from July 2021 to September 2022 and as a Research Manager from July 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc., Chiara worked as a Consultant Scientist at Nuredis for a brief period from August 2018 to October 2018. Chiara also worked at the University of Miami as a Scientist from April 2016 to July 2018, as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow from May 2015 to April 2016, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from June 2011 to May 2015.

Chiara's early career includes a role as a PhD student at the University of Geneva from June 2007 to March 2011 and as a Visiting Doctoral Student at The Scripps Research Institute from April 2008 to October 2008. Chiara began their research journey as an Undergraduate at the IOR Institute of Oncology Research in 2006.

Chiara Pastori obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Università degli Studi dell'Insubria in 2004. Chiara then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the same university between 2004 and 2007. Following their Master's degree, they attended the University of Geneva from 2007 to 2011, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology.
