Mathew Powell has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in sales, business development, and strategic consulting for medical technology companies. Mathew is currently the Senior Director of Sales & Business Development at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director of The HealthTech Consulting Group LTD, where they provided strategic, commercial, and clinical insights to support the growth of novel technologies and businesses in the UK and EU MedTech markets.

Before that, Mathew held multiple leadership positions at Acutus Medical, Inc., including Vice President & Managing Director of Acutus Medical Europe and Managing Director of Europe. Mathew was responsible for driving business performance and customer experience in the European region.

Mathew also worked at Abbott and St Jude Medical, where they served as the Director of Sales & Marketing CRM Division, UK & Ireland, and CRM Sales & Marketing Director, UK & Ireland, respectively. In these roles, Mathew played a key role in driving sales and marketing strategies for cardiac rhythm management (CRM) products.

Mathew Powell attended Green Hill School in Tenby from 1985 to 1992. Mathew did not receive a degree or study a specific field of study at this institution. Following this, they enrolled at Brunel University London from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography & Geology, with a major in this field.
