Waleed Shalaby, MD PhD, began their education journey at Voorhees High School, where they attended from 1980 to 1984. Waleed then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry at Purdue University, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at Purdue University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 1988 to 1992. Waleed Shalaby then attended the Medical University of South Carolina, where they received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 1992 to 1996. Waleed furthered their medical training at the University of Pennsylvania, completing an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program from 1996 to 2000. To specialize in Gynecologic Oncology, Waleed Shalaby joined the University of Pennsylvania once again for their Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Program, which lasted from 2000 to 2003.
