Alex Mourant, CFA has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they are working as an Investment Associate at Galway Sustainable Capital, Inc since March 2022. Before this role, they worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) starting from May 2015. At EPA, they began as an International Environmental Program Specialist and later transitioned to become an Underwriter for the Water Infrastructure Finance Innovation Act (WIFIA) Program in October 2017. Alex's earliest work experience was with Peace Corps, where they served as a Small Business Development Volunteer from May 2011 to June 2013.
Alex Mourant, CFA, completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Florida, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in International Economics and International Relations (Development and Finance) at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 2013 to 2015.
In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute in February 2022. Alex also received the Certification for Contracting Officer's Representatives Level II (FAC-COR) from the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) in June 2019.
