Fergal Hickey

Fergal Hickey is the Clinical Director of Quality and Safety Directorate at Galway University Hospitals. Fergal has over 20 years of experience in process and automation maintenance engineering. Fergal has also worked as an avionic technician and a maintenance technician. Fergal started their career as an electrical apprentice with Cadbury Ireland.

Fergal Hickey has a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Technological University Dublin. Fergal also has a Diploma in Supervisory Management from National College of Ireland. In addition, they have a Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt in Data Processing from SQT Training Ltd. Finally, they have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
