Alexandre K.

Alexandre K. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alexandre is currently serving as the Financial Director at GALY since August 2022. Prior to that, Alexandre was the Director of Risk, Compliance & Internal Controls at VERT Capital from April 2021 to August 2022. Alexandre also worked as a Partner at Brunel Partners from July 2019 to March 2021. Alexandre has a background in finance and investment management, having held positions such as Managing Partner/Portfolio Manager at Vision Brazil Investments from January 2006 to January 2014, and as a Portfolio Manager (FI, FX, and Derivatives) at Itaú Unibanco from April 2000 to December 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a FAPESP sponsored Researcher at FAPESP, where they studied the dynamics of vessels anchored in deep water. Alexandre is also a founding partner of AK11 Consulting since January 2014.

From 1997 to 2001, Alexandre K. attended Escola Politécnica da USP, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
