Miikka Tauren

Miikka Tauren currently serves as the Global Co-Head of Investment Risk Oversight at GAM Investments, a role held since December 2021, with responsibilities encompassing market risk management across a diverse range of asset classes including Credit Opportunities and Emerging Markets Fixed Income. Prior to this position, Miikka Tauren was employed as a Senior Investment Risk Analyst at BNP Paribas Asset Management, focusing on Global Emerging Markets Fixed Income and European Fixed Income portfolios, and also held the title of Senior Risk Manager in the same firm. A tenure at JP Morgan Chase as Vice President involved analysis of European Flow Credit market risks, while Miikka Tauren's experience at Credit Suisse included serving as Global Head of Market Risk for Credit Products. Earlier roles included a Credit Strategist position at Citigroup and a Risk Analyst role at Deutsche Bank. Miikka Tauren holds a PhD and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, as well as various degrees in Finance from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
