Andrew Kemendo

Andrew Kemendo has diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Andrew is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Gambit since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Architect, AI at Unity Technologies from March 2021 to August 2022. From August 2020 to March 2021, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Kessel Run, and from February 2019 to July 2020, they held the position of Chief Data Officer at the same company. Andrew Kemendo was also a Volunteer Co-Founder at Coders Against COVID from February 2020 to March 2021.

Andrew has contributed to the academic field by serving as a Board Member of the College of Engineering at Purdue University from November 2017 to March 2021. Additionally, they have been involved in standards development, being a Member of the Standards for Ethical AI Working Group at IEEE from December 2017 to February 2020.

Andrew Kemendo has entrepreneurial experience as well. Andrew founded and served as the CEO at Pair, which was later acquired by Manor.com. Andrew held this role from January 2015 to February 2019. Before that, they worked in Technical Operations at the Defense Intelligence Agency from May 2012 to January 2015.

Andrew started their career as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force, where they served from May 2008 to May 2012. Andrew Kemendo also founded Up Close Communications, an anonymous personal message delivery service, from May 2007 to May 2008.

Andrew Kemendo has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the United States Air Force Academy. Andrew also has a deferred Masters of Science (MS) degree in Artificial Intelligence from the National Intelligence University.
