Séamus Barry

Séamus Barry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in different companies. Séamus began their career as a Co-op Work Placement at T.A. Sheehan & Co Auditors & Accountants, where they performed accounts preparation and tax computations. Séamus then worked as an Audit Senior at Ernst & Young, where they planned and executed annual statutory audits and managed teams. After that, they served as a Financial Accountant at Lion, where they took ownership of month-end close procedures and contributed to year-end reporting. Following this, Séamus joined Stockland as a Compliance & Risk Analyst, assessing the impact of privacy legislation and making recommendations for compliance. Séamus subsequently worked as a Financial Accountant at Brandtone, where they prepared and analyzed management information, reconciled balance sheet accounts, and supported budgeting processes. Currently, Séamus is employed at Gambling.com Group, first as a Senior Accountant and then as a Finance Manager. In their current role as Director of Finance, they are responsible for overseeing financial operations.

Séamus Barry obtained a Higher Diploma in Strategic Finance & Business Analytics from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they earned an ACA Qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2009-2013. In 2005-2009, they completed a degree in Business Studies with a focus on Accountancy & Finance from the University of Limerick. Séamus'searliest educational experience was at Scoil Mhuire Agus Ide from 2000 to 2005. Séamus also holds a Certificate of Achievement in People Management Skills from CIPD and became a Chartered Accountant in 2013.
