Laura Balla

Laura Balla has a diverse work experience. Laura started working at Databuild Consulting in 2009 as a Project Support. In 2014, they joined the Gambling Commission as a Senior Officer - Analyst. Laura then progressed to become Research and Impact Lead in 2017 and later Senior Manager - Safer Gambling in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head Of Research at the Gambling Commission, starting in October 2020.

Laura Balla attended Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls from 1999 to 2006. After completing their secondary education, they went on to study at the University of Southampton from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography.
