Paul Burgermeister is the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director at Game Knight Studios. Paul has over seven years of experience in the game industry, including studio and project management, game design, and production.

Paul started their career as a Lead Production Coordinator at the UF Digital Worlds Institute, where they coordinated and managed over $2 million of projects, grants, and partnerships. Paul also pioneered the Digital Worlds Institute online remote team pipeline using enhanced server strategies to meet ongoing project deadlines and budgets without interruption.

In November 2020, Paul left the UF Digital Worlds Institute to start Game Knight Studios. Game Knight Studios is a game development studio that specializes in creating innovative, immersive games that tell stories and promote positive social change. Some of their most popular games include the Disability Anti-Bullying Training program, an innovative video series aimed to inhibit bullying in the classroom, and the Implicit Bias training experience, which is a university-wide training experience on Implicit Bias that uses game design techniques to meet rigorous University HR standards.

Paul Burgermeister has a Master's of Digital Arts and Sciences from University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design & 3D Animation from University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Paul also has certification from Scrum Alliance in Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
