Mark Flaa

Mark Flaa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Product at ON since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor in Circularity at The Footwear Collective, where they developed strategies to reduce waste in the footwear industry by bringing together various stakeholders.

Mark also has extensive experience at eBay, where they held various roles over the years. Mark served as the GM/Director of Sneakers, leading a team across multiple departments and spearheading the launch of the Authenticity Guarantee program. Mark also held positions as the Director of Art & Collectibles and Senior Category Manager.

Before joining eBay, Mark worked as a Consultant/Investor/Advisor at Flaaless Consulting and managed the Flaa Family Scholarship. Mark also gained experience at Fat Spaniel Technologies, Inc as a Senior Manager, focusing on alternative energy and green tech projects.

Earlier in their career, Mark served as a Consultant/Investor, providing guidance to startups in business expansion and investment opportunities. Mark also played a key role in building the Quality Assurance department at eBay and contributed to the growth of Intellitest, LLC as a Team Lead/Project Manager.

Mark Flaa attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Chinese. In 1991 to 1992, they attended Nankai University for a one-year intensive language program in Chinese Language and Literature.
