Emily Doucet has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. From 2007-2010, they worked at Aquinas College as a French Tutor and International Programs Coordinator. From 2010-2016, they worked at Booking.com in various roles, starting as a French Customer Service Executive, then a Quality Associate, a Customer Service Team Lead, and finally a Senior Customer Service Executive. In 2016, they moved to HotelTonight as a Customer Experience Manager, Learning and Development. In 2019, they began working at Airbnb as a Learning and Development Manager, HotelTonight, and also at Gametime as a Senior Manager, Fan Experience and Training & Quality Manager, Operations.

Emily Doucet obtained their Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and Political Science from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids between 2005 and 2009. In 2007, they also studied French Language and Literature at UPVD Alumni. In 2018, they earned their Master of Science in Adult Organizational Learning and Leadership from the University of Idaho. In December 2020, they obtained a Human Resource Development certification from the University of Idaho.
