Desiree A. Burke

Desiree Burke is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the gaming and leisure industry. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. since April 2014, Burke has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including SVP, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer, and SVP and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to this, Burke worked at Penn National Gaming, where the roles included VP and Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller. Earlier career highlights include executive positions at MBNA America Bank and Scott Paper, as well as experience as a Senior Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Delaware.
