Nathan Pomey

Nathan Pomey is currently a Commercial Management Liability Intern at Sompo since June 2024, having returned for a second summer to refine underwriting skills and maintain broker relationships. Nathan serves as Director of Recruiting and Outreach for Gamma Iota Sigma since March 2023 and previously completed a 3-week rotational internship at Lloyd's in May 2024, where insights into the London insurance market were gained. Previous experience includes a Commercial Management Liability Intern role at Sompo International, a baseball umpire at Darien Youth Club, an associate at ALDI USA, a resident assistant at Illinois State University, and a certified trainer at Potbelly Sandwich Works. Nathan is pursuing a Bachelor of Risk Management & Insurance at Illinois State University, expected to graduate in 2024.
