Emma Roffe

Emma Roffe has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Emma currently holds the position of Director at Adaptate Biotherapeutics and GammaDelta Therapeutics, both starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, Emma worked at Takeda Oncology from 2016 to 2022, serving as the Oncology Country Head for UK & Ireland and later as the Head of Medical & Scientific Affairs for Oncology. Before Takeda Oncology, they worked at Takeda UK from 2003 to 2016 in various medical manager roles, specializing in haem oncology, oncology & CV, and CV. Emma also has experience at AstraZeneca and Astra Pharmaceuticals, where they held roles as Brand Specialist, Scientific Advisor, and Clinical Scientist from 1996 to 2003.

Emma Roffe obtained their PhD in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from the University of London, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their BSc Hons in Basic Medical Science and Pharmacology at UCL from 1990 to 1993.
