Xavier Mendez

Xavier Mendez has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Xavier started their career as a Senior Consultant at Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting), where they supervised and controlled IT projects in the manufacturing, public administration, and services sectors.

Xavier then worked at Port Aventura S.A., initially as the Head of Organization and Information Systems, where they were responsible for the planning and control of the park's launch project and the definition of its organization and procedures. Subsequently, they became the Head of Planning and Organization, overseeing the implementation of the park's IT systems and the development and management of the service and operation quality indicators.

After Port Aventura, Xavier joined Chupa Chups as the Corporate Controller, responsible for budgeting, monthly and annual closing coordination, and financial reporting for the entire group. Xavier also held the position of Business Project Leader for the restructuring and implementation of SAP in different locations, leading various modules' implementations.

Currently, Xavier works at Gamo Outdoor, SL as the CFO. In this role, they are in charge of corporate financial management for the GAMO Group, including budgeting, monthly and annual closures, and presenting financial and analytical information to the management committee and the board of directors.

Xavier Mendez attended Escuela Tecnica Superior de Ingeniería de Barcelona from 1982 to 1987, earning a degree in Ingeniero Industrial with a focus on Organización. Additionally, they completed a Curso de normas internacional de Información Financiera at CIEF, specializing in international financial reporting standards.
