Dr. Raghavendra Rao Sanagala is a Senior Scientist & In-charge of Biotechnology at Ganga Kaveri Seed Pvt Ltd. Dr. Raghavendra Rao manages a team of scientists, research students, and technical assistants, overseeing activities in line with statutory requirements. Dr. Sanagala specializes in Trait Introgression programs and the development of transgenic plants for insect resistance and herbicide tolerance. Dr. Raghavendra Rao has been responsible for various projects funded by BIRAC, Department of Biotechnology, and has made significant contributions to crop improvement in rice. With a PhD in Plant Biotechnology and extensive experience in genetic engineering, Dr. Sanagala has a strong background in research, project management, and innovation.
