Jaime Sturgis

Jaime Sturgis is an experienced professional in materials management with a career spanning over two decades in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Currently serving as Director of Materials Management at Gannet BioChem since December 2024, Jaime previously held the same title at Nektar Therapeutics while also advancing through roles such as Associate Director and Manager in the same field. Earlier experience includes senior managerial positions at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities involved capacity and demand planning, and at Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, focusing on project management and implementation of scheduling software. Additional roles at King Pharmaceuticals and Ciba Specialty Chemicals involved master scheduling and regional replenishment, contributing significantly to inventory reduction and customer service levels. Jaime's foundational expertise began as a Laboratory Technician at Ciba-Geigy, supported by a Master's degree in Business from Haslam College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University.
