Kathleen Herman-Mathurin is an experienced hospitality professional with a strong focus on front office operations. Currently serving as the Director of Front Office Operations at The Empire Hotel & Country Club since July 2017, Kathleen oversees various departments including concierge, bell staff, and PBX, while implementing strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize operational efficiency. Prior to this role, Kathleen managed front office operations at Gansevoort Hotel Group since April 2014, ensuring quality guest service across multiple areas including front desk and room service. Kathleen's experience includes a position as Assistant Front Office Manager at Marriott International, where responsibilities encompassed daily front office operations and guest services. Educated at Johnson & Wales University, Kathleen holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Hotel and Lodging Management.
