Neetu Sehgal

Neetu Sehgal is the current Vice President of Banana Republic Factory Global Omni Merchandising, Product Development & Supply Chain at Gap. Neetu has previously worked as the Vice President Merchandising, Wovens & Product Development at Gap Inc. from September 2014 to December 2020. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Global Sourcing at True Religion Brand Jeans from January 2013 to January 2014.

Some of their notable achievements include leading product development and production for Knits, sweaters, woven tops, non-denim bottoms and outerwear for all channels, which equals to 45% of the total company’s annual sales. Neetu has also expanded sportswear supply chain from 95% domestic to 80% imports (Asia, Portugal &Turkey).

Sehgal has developed strong and successful working relationships with the factories that resulted in track record price negotiations and increased margin season over season. Neetu has also supported the company’s life style brand vision by developing new categories across the sportswear department and restructure internal team, resources and supply chain.

Neetu has worked closely with interim CEO to centralize international sourcing and distribution department, aligning to the company’s global product vision. Additionally, they have also worked closely with design &merchandising partners by executing desired seasonal product and business needs resulting in better product aesthetic and improved margin.

At Gap, they are currently leading and managing a cross functional team of production/product development/technical design departments.

Neetu Sehgal received a bachelor's degree in fashion and apparel design from the National Institute of Design.
