Karoliina Toropainen

Karoliina Toropainen has a diverse work experience. Karoliina started their career as a Special Education Teacher at the City of Helsinki in 2016. During their time there, they developed inclusive instruction material for the HundrED project and organized informative events. Karoliina continued their role as a Special Education Teacher until 2022. In 2022, they joined Gapps as a Consultant Trainee and later became a Junior Consultant in 2023.

Karoliina Toropainen began their education journey in 2008 at Kouvolan Lyseon lukio, where they completed their high school education.

In 2011, they enrolled at the University of Eastern Finland and pursued a Bachelor of Education degree in Special Education and Teaching. Karoliina graduated from this program in 2014.

In 2014, Karoliina continued their studies at the same institution, this time completing a Master of Education degree in Special Education and Teaching. Karoliina finished this program in 2016.

During their time at the University of Eastern Finland, Karoliina also had the opportunity to study at the University of Gothenburg in 2015-2016. Karoliina focused on Educational/Instructional Technology during their time there.

More recently, in 2020, Karoliina began studying at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Karoliina is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Information Technology. Karoliina'sexpected completion date for this program is 2023.
