Meditha Karunatillaka

Meditha Karunatillaka has a diverse range of work experiences in human resources and operations. Starting in 2001, they worked as an Executive in HR and Admin for Commercial Leasing Company PLC for seven years before moving on to become a Senior Executive HR at LOLC. In 2010, they joined Alliance Finance Company PLC as an Assistant Manager in HR before becoming a Manager in HR and Development at Entrust Group in 2011. Meditha then took on the role of Head of HR at UB Finance Co. Ltd in 2012, where they remained until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Head of Human Resources for Multi Finance PLC, and subsequently as a Consultant in Human Resources for Prime Finance PLC and The Traveller Global Pvt Limited. Currently, they serve as the Head of Operations at Gapstars and is also a Visiting Lecturer at various institutions.

Meditha Karunatillaka's education history started in 1979 at Isipathana College in Colombo 06, where they completed their GCE O/L. They then attended St. Peter's College in Colombo 04 from 1988 to 1992, focusing on Mathematics for their A/L degree. In 2004, Meditha enrolled in the National Institute of Business Management, earning a National Diploma in HRM from 2004 to 2006. Following this, from 2006 to 2007, they pursued a National Diploma in Training and Development at the Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development. Lastly, in 2007 to 2009, Meditha obtained an MBA from ICFAI in India, specializing in General studies.
