Hilmi BEYDEŞ

Hilmi Beydeş has a strong background in the field of audit and risk management. Hilmi started working at Garanti Bank in 2008 as a Senior IT Auditor, where they conducted audits based on BDDK regulations and COBIT methodology. Hilmi also assessed new banking processes and products to ensure compliance with banking regulations and information security best practices. At Garanti BBVA, Hilmi held various roles such as Supervisor of IT and Risk Management Audits, Manager of Digital Businesses & Operational Risks Audits, and Head of Data Science Audit Projects & Digital, Banking Processes Audits. In these roles, they managed multiple audits, including banking processes audits, risk management audits, and information systems audits. Hilmi has extensive experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Hilmi Beydeş completed their education with the following degrees and certifications:

- In 2024, they obtained a degree in Emotional Intelligence in Leadership from the Harvard Division of Continuing Education through their Professional & Executive Development program.

- From 2004 to 2008, they attended Istanbul University where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

- Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Denizli Anadolu Lisesi from 2000 to 2004, specializing in Science.

- Hilmi Beydeş also holds additional certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council (obtained in 2021), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from BSI (obtained in 2013), and several others including CISA and CISM from ISACA.
