İhsan Büyükuğur

İhsan Büyükuğur serves as the Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at Garanti BBVA since March 2013, leading the internal audit functions focused on technology, cyber security, data, AI, and business strategy, while also managing talent and culture within the department. In addition to leading IT audit initiatives and reporting to the Chief Audit Executive, İhsan holds the position of Board Member and Secretary-General at Turkiye Ic Denetim Enstitüsü since March 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Senior Process and IT Auditor at KPMG Türkiye, where project work encompassed various financial institutions. İhsan co-founded the Mesai Enstitüsü, a startup dedicated to creating viral social media content, and has held various marketing roles early in the career. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Business Informatics from Istanbul Bilgi University and an MA in Management and Organization from Marmara University.
